Why we started
Phone cases are sold on words. Military grade. Premium. Shockproof. None of those words tell you the lip height over the screen, whether the clear plastic has an anti yellowing coating, or how many magnets are actually in the MagSafe ring. Those are the three things that decide whether a case does its job, so we publish all three.
What we will tell you that a shop will not
- Untreated clear TPU goes yellow in about six months. Ask for a guarantee in months.
- A single magnet disc is not a MagSafe ring. A real one has 18 magnets and about 1100 g of pull.
- A hard shell with no microfibre liner grinds grit into your back glass.
- If you have not cracked a phone in five years, you do not need the rugged case.
- Nobody needs a rugged case, a screen protector and a wallet on the back at the same time.
How we specify
- Cutouts are cut to a measured handset, not a published drawing.
- Clear cases carry an anti yellowing coating and a 24 month guarantee.
- Screen lip at least 1 mm, camera lip at least 1.5 mm, published per product.
- Tactile or metal buttons rather than moulded plastic wherever the price allows.
- Where a case is drop rated we state the height, the surface and the number of drops.
The honest trade off
These are moulded TPU, polycarbonate, aramid and leather cases made overseas, and we do not pretend otherwise. What we do is specify the parts that matter, publish the numbers and stand behind the yellowing guarantee.
Trade and wholesale
We sell from six cases up to sixty, polybagged with no retail packaging so you can label them yourself. The kiosk and retail bundles include a counter display. Model splits are confirmed by email before anything ships.
